The video this year has a bit of a show tune theme that can't be compared to in years past. Bringing up the scandals and scrapes of people in the news, the actual video focuses a lot of celebrities, including those we have lost over the course of the year 2009. The best part, just has to be the whole Carrie Prejean reflection. Of course that could be argued to be second best compared to the golf-pro part of the video. Her reputation as a Christian is more important than any public appearance or monetary compensations. “If in the future, you have an opportunity for her to speak to young adults or physically challenged athletes, she would love it, added her mother.

New York, Dec 9 (ANI): Disgraced ex-Miss California Carrie Prejean has refused to appear at a Connecticut club, insisting a midnight slot was ‘in direct conflict with her reputation as a Christian.’

Prejean, who was dumped by the pageant after she bashed gay marriage and was revealed to have taken part in a sex tape, was negotiating a 15,000-dollar offer with promoters Moodswing360 to appear at Shrine at the MGM Grand at Foxwoods on Jan. 26.

However, she pulled out the talks because the appearance was to be made between midnight and 2 a.m, reports the New York Post.

In an e-mail, her mother, Francine, wrote: “We are not completely certain that we want her in a nightclub setting at the hours specified in the contract.

“As you can understand, this is in direct conflict with who she is. Her reputation as a Christian is more important than any public appearance attention or monetary compensation.”“If in the future, you have an opportunity for her to speak to young adults, or physically challenged athletes, she would love it,” she added.

Carrie Prejean‘s rep, on why Carrie needed to pull out of a midnight appearance at nightclub Shrine in the MGM Grand. Right, because staying up past midnight ruins your rep and not eight sex tapes? Carrie stood to bank $15K from appearing. Also, since when do dance clubs offer opportunities to speak to physically challenged athletes?

Carrie Prejean is an American hero. And I mean that honestly. Not just an American hero, but a saint. She could be canonized. Now I know you’re saying, Mark, that is a ridiculous assertion, she’s a bigoted figure on the national scene who happens to be a beauty queen. But I beg of you, look deeper. Look past the initial appearances. Carrie Prejean is a patron saint.

Famed American attorney who is known for her high profile cases, Gloria Allred has sent an open letter to former Miss California Carrie Prejean regarding sexting. In Carrie Prejean’s latest scandal (a number of sex-tapes circulating the Internet, Carrie Prejean admitted to sexting the sexually explicit images to her now ex-boyfriend. Gloria Allred sent the open letter explaining that sexting is a crime and that those who engage in the practices are engaging in transmitting child pornography. Surely, Carrie Prejean would find being labeled a sex offender the most significant tarnish on her reputation when compared to her other blemishes.

Gloria Allred began by explaining the definition of sexting and by saying that it was fair to assume that Carrie Prejean knew what sexting was. It was defined by Gloria Allred as sending sexually explicit photos via cell phone. She then asked Carrie Prejean if she knew that sexting was illegal and that those who engage in sexting are transmitting child pornography.Gloria Allred then asked Carrie Prejean if she felt that she should be prosecuted. Gloria reminded Carrie Prejean that many who have been prosecuted for sexting have been sentenced to prison and labeled a sex offender.She continued in her letter by stating that it was time for Carrie Prejean to take full responsibility for her sexting and to face the legal consequences of her actions.
